Hair loss- causes
Generally due to some hormonal changes, damage, irritation some of the hair follicles will have a shorter growth phase and will produce thinner and shorter hair shafts. One point to be considered is this that the gradual thinning is a normal part of the aging, but if the rate of shedding exceeds then it will lead to baldness. The common causes of the hair loss can be:
• When people are in severe stress it will lead to hair loss
• Nutritional changes are also considered to lead to hair loss
• Some hormonal changes such as those in pregnancy will cause the problem
• Some people will experience the hair loss because of thyroid disease
• Those with iron deficiency anemia will experience the hair loss problem.
• There are certain drugs which are causing the hair loss and are the drugs which are good for managing of the gout, arthritis, depression and so on.
• Some chemical which are used for dying, tinting, bleaching and straightening will lead to hair loss.
• Some scalp infections like ringworm, which will invade the hair and skin of the scalp and will lead to hair loss.
• Heredity causes, for example if the family has this problem it will be carried to children.
• Hair loss is sometimes happening due to some changes in the normal hair cycle.
• Some diseases like diabetes and lupus are considered to cause the hair loss problem.
• Sometimes the excessive hairstyling is going to cause the hair loss.
